Custom software in Opelousas, LouisianaSoftware shaped around you.

Client portals, dashboards, quoting tools and internal systems that replace the spreadsheets and sticky notes holding your operation together.

What it is

Custom software from Only Option Media means client portals, dashboards, quoting tools and internal systems built around the way your team already works, so the spreadsheets, paper and copy-paste can go. It is for growing businesses in Opelousas, across Louisiana and the US that have outgrown off-the-shelf tools.

Built in stages · You own the code and the data

What we build

Tools your team will actually use.

01

Client portals

One sign-in where your customers see their documents, proposals, messages and invoices, instead of digging through email threads and asking you to resend things.

02

Dashboards

The numbers you check every morning in one screen: open jobs, new leads, what is waiting on whom. Pulled from your systems, not typed in by hand.

03

Quoting and proposals

Build a quote or proposal from your own price list and templates, send it as a link, and see when it is opened and accepted.

04

Internal systems

Job tracking, intake, scheduling and admin screens that fit the way your crew already works, so there is nothing new to fight.

05

Integrations

Connect the tools you already pay for, so a new lead, a signed form or a paid invoice moves to the next step on its own.

06

Automation

Reminders, follow-ups, reports and hand-offs that used to depend on someone remembering, now happen on schedule.

The client portal behind the "Client login" link on this site is software we built for our own business. Clients sign in to read and accept proposals, find their documents and files, send messages and check billing in one place.

That is the kind of work this service is about. Not a giant platform that does everything badly, but a focused tool that removes a specific headache: the proposal that lives in five versions of a Word file, the client who emails asking for the same document every month, the job list that only one person understands.

Because it is custom, it uses your words, your steps and your rules. Your team does not have to bend the business around a product built for somebody else, and you are not paying per seat, per month, forever, for features nobody touches.

We build with the same standards as our websites: plain, fast, secure code that runs on ordinary hosting, sign-in with hashed passwords and protected forms, and data that stays yours. If you ever want to take it in-house or hand it to another developer, it is all there.

Signs you are ready

If this sounds familiar, we should talk.

  • Someone copies the same information between two or three systems every day
  • A spreadsheet runs an important part of the business, and only one person can edit it
  • Customers email or call to ask where things stand
  • Quotes and proposals take longer to format than to price
  • You pay for software that almost fits and work around the rest
  • Reports take a Friday afternoon to put together by hand

How it comes together

Small first. Then bigger.

Four steps, starting with the part of the process that pays off most.

  1. Step 01Map the process

We sit with the people doing the work, map each step and decide which part to fix first for the biggest payoff.

  2. Step 02Prototype

You click through the screens before the heavy building starts, so changes are cheap and nobody is surprised.

  3. Step 03Build and launch

We build the first stage, move your existing data in, train your team and launch it for real use.

  4. Step 04Grow it

With the first piece in use, we add the next one: integrations, reports, portals or an AI agent that works from the same data.

What kind of software do you build?

Web-based tools that run in a browser on any computer or phone: client portals, customer dashboards, quoting and proposal tools, intake forms that feed a database, job and document tracking, and internal admin screens. If your team keeps a spreadsheet to run part of the business, that is usually a good place to start.

Do I own the code?

Yes. The software is built for you and you own it, along with your data. It runs on hosting in your name or ours, and there is no license fee to keep using what you paid for.

Can it connect to the tools we already use?

Usually. Email, calendars, payment and accounting tools, CRMs and spreadsheets can often be connected so data moves on its own instead of being copied by hand. We confirm what is possible during discovery before quoting.

How long does a custom tool take?

It depends on scope. A focused tool that replaces one spreadsheet or one manual process can be weeks, not months. Larger systems are built in stages so your team is using the first piece while the next one is built.

Is it secure?

Every tool gets sign-in with hashed passwords, protection on every form, rate-limited logins and access by role, so people only see what they should. Sensitive data is stored encrypted when it needs to be.
