We design clean, professional marks and identity systems that hold up on every truck, sign, shirt and screen.
What it is
Branding and logo design from Only Option Media is a custom mark and identity system, with colors, type and usage rules, made to look sharp on a truck, a yard sign, a website and a Google profile. It is for new and established businesses in Opelousas, across Louisiana and the US that want to look like the leader in their market.
Why it matters
Most customers see your brand long before they ever talk to you. It is on the truck in their neighbor's driveway, the sign in a front yard, the shirt at the job site and the little square next to your name on Google.
A logo pulled together in an afternoon tends to show it. It blurs when it is shrunk, disappears on a dark truck door, prints in the wrong color at the sign shop and looks different on every page of your website. Customers notice, even when they cannot say why, and the company down the road with the cleaner look gets the call.
We design marks that are drawn on a grid, built to read from across a parking lot and from a browser tab, and backed by a simple system of colors and type. The goal is that every place your name shows up looks like the same serious company.
Everything is designed in-house in Opelousas, and founder Jonathan Lane works directly with you from the first conversation to the final files. No handoffs to a stranger and no design-by-committee.
What you get
A primary mark plus the versions you will actually need: a wide layout, a stacked layout, an icon on its own, one color and reversed for dark backgrounds.
A small set of brand colors with exact values for print and screen, so the red on your truck matches the red on your website and your business cards.
Headline and body fonts chosen to fit the mark, so everything you print and publish, from a quote to a yard sign, looks like it came from one company.
A short, plain guide to clear space, minimum sizes and color rules, so a printer, a sign shop or a new hire gets your brand right the first time.

Where it has to work
How it works
Four steps from discovery to a folder of final files for print and web.
We learn the business, the customers you want and the competitors you are up against, plus what you like and what you never want to see.
Directions are sketched and built on a grid, then shown the way customers will see them: on a truck door, a yard sign and a Google profile.
You give feedback and we tighten the details: spacing, weight, color and how the mark holds up small and in a single color.
You get the final mark, palette, type, usage guide and a folder of files for print and web, organized so anyone can find the right one.
Brand and website
A brand only works if it shows up the same way everywhere. That is easiest when the people designing the mark also build the website and set up the Google profile.
For Nexus Home Partners, a real estate firm in Lafayette, branding was part of a bigger job: a custom child theme for the website, a favicon and a Google Business Profile setup, all carrying the same look. One team, one set of files, no mismatched colors between the site and the listing.
Because we build and manage more than 60 client websites, we design marks with the web in mind from the start. The icon has to work as a favicon, the colors have to hold contrast on a phone screen in the sun and the logo has to fit a header without crowding the menu.
When the project is done, the mark and every file are yours. Use them with any printer, sign shop or embroidery shop you like. If you want the brand rolled out across a new website, your Google Business Profile or your social accounts, we can handle that too.
Questions
Anything not covered here, ask us. You will get a straight answer from the person doing the work.
A finished logo mark with the versions you will actually use, a color palette with exact values, your brand fonts, a short usage guide, and a folder of files for print and web. That includes a favicon and profile images for your social accounts and Google Business Profile.
Yes. The final mark and every file we hand over are yours to use on anything, with any printer or sign shop. Like your website, domain and content, your brand belongs to you.
Yes. If your current mark has history with your customers, we can start from it and clean it up rather than throw it away. If it is holding you back, we will tell you plainly and talk through a fresh start.
That is part of the job. Every mark is checked as a tiny favicon, in a single color for vinyl, embroidery and stamps, and reversed on dark backgrounds, so it holds up everywhere you put it.
Yes, and it is often the best way to do it. The same team designs the mark, builds the site and sets up your Google Business Profile, so everything matches from day one. We did exactly that for Nexus Home Partners.
